The University of Cambridge subscribes to a wealth of databases and other electronic resources, which you can access in the followng ways:

  • E-Journals - digital issues of journals to which the UL subscribes
    • If you're searching for a particular article, use iDiscover and activate the search filter 'Articles and online resources'. Search using the article title and/or author's surname, and remain wary of spelling (sometimes titles use regional variants, e.g. 'realise' vs. 'realize').
    • If you're searching for a particular journal, use E-Journal search. You can find journals by searching the title or ISSN of publications, or by using the subject filters.

  • E-Books
    • Use iDiscover and set the search filter to 'Ebooks' or narrow down a page of results by selecting 'Full Text Online' under 'Refine my results'.
