
The University of Cambridge subscribes to a wealth of databases and other electronic resources, which you can access in the followng ways:
- Cambridge LibGuides - This page is the hub from which you can access most of the university's digital subscriptions, catalogues and collections. From here you can access:
- A-Z Databases - an alphabetical list of databases.
- Resources by Subject - filter down electronic resources to those most relevant to your subject. (The HPS Libguide can be found here.)
- Physical & Digital Collections - Catalogues for different kind of collections, including archives, newspapers, theses, and audio-visual resources.
- Study skills advice and extra tips on accessing resources.
- E-Journals - digital issues of journals to which the UL subscribes
- If you're searching for a particular article, use iDiscover and activate the search filter 'Articles and online resources'. Search using the article title and/or author's surname, and remain wary of spelling (sometimes titles use regional variants, e.g. 'realise' vs. 'realize').
- If you're searching for a particular journal, use E-Journal search. You can find journals by searching the title or ISSN of publications, or by using the subject filters.
